The First Leg ~ 14th March

So, we've done over 1000km since leaving home already.
Spent a lovely evening last night with good friends near Cambridge. Straight forward crossing on the Chunnel, and not too much ripe language whilst we settled into driving on the other side of the road!
French roads are a delight: little traffic, smooth surfaces, and clear signage. I'm sure that, on one section, I didn't overtake another vehicle for about 80km (not even a lorry), and was only overtaken about half a dozen times! Drove on cruise control for about 150km without interruption.
We're now settled into our hotel on the outskirts of Dijon, watching The Simpsons in French....!
The boys have been great, considering. Tomorrow it's on to Verona.
